Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable cloud-native software solutions.
- Develop reusable Terraform templates and modules for provisioning AWS infrastructure across accounts and environments.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions that support consistency, security, compliance, performance, and reliability.
- Create automation workflows for validating and deploying Terraform templates.
- Collaborate with application teams to translate infrastructure needs into standardized Terraform modules.
- Build and maintain Golang-based APIs and microservices for platform automation.
- Develop event-driven and asynchronous systems that orchestrate infrastructure provisioning and respond to platform events.
- Design RESTful APIs for programmatic infrastructure requests.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Golang or Terraform.
- Experience working in a cloud-native environment and developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle concepts, software design principles, design patterns, and software architectures such as modular monoliths and microservices.
- Understanding of application resiliency, security, and software delivery practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Next.js and corresponding state-management solutions.
- Preferred experience designing and maintaining API or event-driven architectures.
- Preferred experience with Golang, Terraform, and AWS.
