Responsibilities
- Support AWS cloud-native platform operations and enable AWS services.
- Design and maintain infrastructure as code and operations as code using Terraform and Harness.
- Manage incidents, changes, problems, releases, patching, and disaster recovery activities.
- Improve monitoring, observability, uptime, metrics, reporting, and mean time to resolution.
- Identify cloud cost optimization opportunities and maintain showback or chargeback reporting.
- Handle critical issues, document compliant technical deliverables, and coordinate remediation across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
- At least 3 years of IT experience in a hands-on role, including 2–3 years supporting AWS environments.
- Strong AWS platform, cloud computing, SRE operations, automation, Terraform, Harness, and DevOps experience.
- Understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions and cloud-native design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure domains such as compute, storage, networking, and high availability; Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service and Event Hub; or data platforms such as SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Strong programming and scripting experience with shell scripts, Python, or Java.
- Experience designing, coding, and deploying Terraform templates or modules with Harness.
- Ability to manage critical issues, develop compliant documentation, communicate effectively, and work in high-pressure situations.
- Preferred qualifications include relevant infrastructure or DevOps certifications, automated testing tools, ServiceNow, Splunk, Grafana, Windows or Linux knowledge, and financial-services or regulated-industry experience.
