Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and reliable deployment solutions.
- Build tools and automation for large-scale distributed systems and Find My microservices.
- Develop and integrate systems using cloud architectures, Kubernetes, pub-sub patterns, and observability tooling.
- Partner with product, SRE, and engineering teams to deliver reliable infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design and code reviews.
- Lead or manage enterprise-scale projects and multifunctional engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strong software development experience.
- Strong Java experience and ability to use Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Hands-on experience building and integrating scalable and reliable microservices.
- Hands-on experience with pub-sub architecture and technologies such as Kafka.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud architectures such as AWS or GCP.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes architecture, container runtimes, and package management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, system-diagnosis tools, network security, firewalls, encryption, IAM roles, and secret management tools is preferred.
- Experience using LLMs or AI tooling for operational automation and workflow optimization is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and stakeholder communication skills.
- A proven track record of leading enterprise-level projects or multifunctional engineering initiatives is preferred.
