Base Salary
$132k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement custom agent skills and plugins for engineering workflows.
- Build workflows that automate code generation, verification, testing, and delivery.
- Assist engineering teams in adopting and customizing AI coding tools.
- Integrate AI into CI/CD processes for automated reviews and documentation.
- Develop observability layers for usage telemetry and cost management.
- Conduct evaluations for agent workflows and maintain reusable engineering harnesses.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to AI agents and workflows.
- Participate in design reviews and on-call support for the AI Tooling platform.
- Write reusable and efficient code while staying updated on AI tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer building production systems.
- Daily user of AI coding tools with customization experience.
- Working knowledge of MCP and safe exposure of internal tools to AI agents.
- Familiarity with the Anthropic API or similar tools.
- Strong backend skills in TypeScript or Python, REST APIs, and relational databases.
- Experience with developer-facing tooling and CI/CD systems.
- Awareness of security considerations in AI development tools.
- Experience developing real-world web applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation.
