Base Salary
$170k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the accuracy of core document extraction systems by identifying failure modes and implementing fixes with domain experts
- Own and expand evaluation suites to measure improvements and prevent regressions
- Improve the shared agent harness, including tooling, parallel tool calls, context strategy, and orchestration
- Design human-review workflows with product and design so users can understand, accept, or reject suggestions
- Stay current on AI models, capabilities, usage patterns, and best practices, and apply relevant developments through evaluations
- Ship production changes frequently and collaborate with customers and internal subject-matter experts
Requirements
- Four or more years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices
- Experience working on production AI systems rather than primarily conducting research
- Experience with prompt engineering, context engineering, and evaluation design
- Interest in making probabilistic systems dependable and understanding the trusts and wealth-transfer domain
- Strong communication skills, particularly in a distributed team
