Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical designs for products migrating to shared Kubernetes environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain physical hosts supporting production and non-production applications.
- Develop Ansible deployment automation and orchestrate Kubernetes workloads.
- Coordinate deployments of systems and software with technical staff and software developers.
- Provide operational support, problem isolation, resolution, documentation, and progress reporting.
- Provide technical leadership in on-premises and AWS Kubernetes environments and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience deploying and operating mission-critical systems.
- Strong Linux configuration and administration, automation, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes workloads, physical server, and networking knowledge.
- Experience with RHEL 8/9, SELinux, IBM POWER hardware, AIX, ServiceNow, Python, network troubleshooting tools, Ansible, Docker, OpenStack, Unix-like systems, and Jenkins is desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication, troubleshooting instincts, curiosity, and commitment to secure and available services are expected.
