Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end data solution architectures for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Translate business and product requirements into architectural designs aligned with enterprise standards and future scalability needs.
- Define and enforce standards for data modelling, integration patterns, and system design.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and review solution designs, code, and implementations.
- Lead resolution of complex technical issues, including performance bottlenecks and architectural limitations.
- Drive improvements in system design, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support CI/CD, testing, and deployment strategies for reliable delivery.
- Ensure secure data handling and compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain architectural documentation and coordinate architecture, standards, and delivery priorities across global teams.
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of experience in data architecture, software engineering, or a technical leadership role.
- Strong experience designing and delivering scalable data solutions in production environments.
- Expertise in data modelling, system design, integration patterns, and data processing at scale.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and experience with data pipeline and ETL tools such as SSIS or equivalent.
- Experience using Python or similar programming languages for data processing, automation, or pipeline development.
- Experience defining or contributing to technical standards and architecture frameworks.
- Ability to lead technical design, guide delivery across teams, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of modern data platforms, cloud-based architectures, performance optimization, secure system design, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
