Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the technical goals, architectural roadmap, and reliability strategy for AQI Data SRE across the SAGE/SPARK production stack.
- Lead system design reviews, backend simplification, resource isolation, and production-readiness efforts for Ads launches.
- Architect and lead infrastructure projects for data-pipeline resilience, automated rollback and restart, and consolidated observability.
- Mentor engineers, promote software engineering excellence and SRE practices, and support partner teams’ operational maturity.
- Lead complex production incident response, connect system signals to customer and business impact, drive post-incident improvements and blameless postmortems, and participate in tier 2 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience leading projects.
- Three years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with large-scale data processing.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; experience with distributed real-time systems and high-throughput data pipelines.
- Preferred: knowledge or experience with agentic flows/development, AI-assisted production and reliability tooling, scalable self-service reliability and observability, large-systems design, and cross-functional architectural alignment.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000-$300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
