Responsibilities
- Evaluate technologies, develop proofs of concept, write and review code, and support automated testing and continuous deployment.
- Build and manage microservices for Synamedia’s cloud-based video platform.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, distributed, production-grade cloud solutions.
- Analyze product and customer requirements, map them to existing solutions, and propose new ideas.
- Develop tools, scripts, and processes that improve product quality, stability, efficiency, and automation.
- Collaborate with a distributed, multi-site engineering team.
Requirements
- Engineering graduate with a B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of industry experience and demonstrable experience as a Cloud Developer or in a similar role.
- Experience with loosely coupled designs, microservices development, message queues, and containerized application deployment.
- Strong programming experience with Node.js, Java, and Go.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, EKS, and OpenStack or similar platforms.
- Experience building production-grade solutions with AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, ELB, Route 53, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, and Cognito.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines; knowledge of Git, Jenkins, AWS Pipeline, Artifactory, and Terraform is desirable.
- Exposure to Lightstep, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with databases such as RDS, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.
- Experience with high-volume, high-throughput cloud-based systems is a plus.
