Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for Google Workspace generative AI products.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and evaluate technology options with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update technical documentation and educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their operational and quality impacts.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, such as model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- At least 1 year of experience with GenAI techniques or related concepts, including LLMs, multimodal systems, large vision models, language modeling, or computer vision.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience in complex, matrixed, cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
