Responsibilities
- Define and drive test architecture, standards, quality strategy, and quality metrics across all products and services.
- Own testing strategies across unit, API/contract, integration, UI, and end-to-end layers and build the supporting frameworks.
- Design CI/CD quality gates and establish reliable release confidence standards.
- Lead performance, scalability, reliability, resilience, security, data-quality, test-data, and environment strategies for a high-volume multi-tenant platform.
- Own quality assurance for LLM-powered copilots and agents, including hallucination checks, prompt and output regression, guardrail and safety testing, and red-teaming.
- Drive AI-assisted testing such as generated test cases, self-healing automation, intelligent triage, coverage analysis, and synthetic test-data generation.
- Mentor SDETs and QA engineers and influence engineering-wide quality culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably a B.E. or B.Tech in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of software quality or engineering experience owning quality at platform scale.
- Strong coding ability in one or more of Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep automation expertise using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Experience with API and contract testing, test architecture, CI/CD quality gates, and cloud-native environments.
- Strength in performance/load testing, reliability, and security fundamentals.
- Experience testing data- or ML-driven systems, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly into new technical domains with interest in AI quality.
- Ability to set standards across teams, communicate effectively, solve problems analytically, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred experience with LLM/GenAI evaluations, RAG evaluation, prompt regression, LLM-as-judge systems, evaluation frameworks, ML pipelines, model performance, responsible AI, enterprise multi-tenant SaaS, regulated domains, or AI-assisted QA tooling.
