Base Salary
$123k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build scalable, responsive, accessible frontend architectures, component libraries, dashboards, and dynamic forms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver integrated functionality.
- Integrate analytics, instrumentation, observability, and API integrations into frontend applications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across browsers and devices.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture discussions, RFCs, proof-of-concepts, coding standards, testing practices, and design conventions.
- Plan and execute deliverables, identify risks, resolve blockers, and communicate milestones and progress.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.
- Expert proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on experience building modern web applications with Next.js, React Native, Expo, Turborepo, TanStack Query, Zustand, tRPC, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, React Reanimated, Datadog, Amplitude, FullStory, Vitest, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience collaborating closely with product management and UX design teams.
- Strong design sensibilities and a desire to build pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with component, visual, and end-to-end testing approaches.
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required.
