Base Salary
$113k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Java-based applications and services for the MineStar ecosystem.
- Develop clean, tested, maintainable code with quality, security, resilience, documentation, and automated tests.
- Deliver features end-to-end with the scrum team, from refinement and estimation through implementation, testing, and release.
- Contribute to solution design, technical decisions, design artifacts, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Monitor production services, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Quality Engineering to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, coaching, and knowledge sharing, and contribute to hiring and capability development.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing mission-critical Java software in multithreaded and distributed environments.
- Expertise in concurrent processing, real-time system performance, and algorithm-based software development.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle practices and structured software delivery methodologies.
- Ability to test, write, design, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain source code and computer programs.
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving approaches for hardware, software, applications, and operations.
- Preferred experience implementing distributed architecture, modern database design, cloud infrastructure, build and dependency management tools, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices development is preferred.
- Experience with modern security principles and technologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, design, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
