Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain authentication code in the shared Rust core library, Angular clients, and IdentityServer back end.
- Scope and refine initiatives while collaborating across teams to design, document, and communicate solutions.
- Participate in synchronous and asynchronous technical discussions and drive actionable outcomes.
- Conduct timely, thorough, and well-reasoned code reviews.
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve bugs reported by the community and customers.
- Update and validate core dependencies to maintain a secure and stable software supply chain.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing with Angular and strong Rust skills in complex, multi-client applications.
- Familiarity with integrating Rust into other clients using WebAssembly and UniFFI bindings.
- Understanding of modern web authentication concepts including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and WebAuthn.
- Strong technical writing, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
- .NET experience, knowledge of modern encryption techniques, secure development principles, and experience with Claude or LLMs are advantageous.
- Interest in open-source software and internet security.
