Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend applications and services using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure.
- Build and integrate REST APIs used by Copilot Studio agents and business systems.
- Build Microsoft Copilot Studio agents using topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, actions, and agent flows.
- Write agent instructions, ground agents in enterprise knowledge, and apply prompt engineering to improve reliability.
- Extend agents with custom connectors, REST APIs, and Model Context Protocol servers.
- Integrate backend services with databases, Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, and other business systems.
- Secure APIs and agent connections using Entra ID and OAuth 2.0 while applying DLP, data protection, and responsible AI practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy agents through Power Platform ALM.
- Test and evaluate agents before release and support backend services and agents in production.
- Work with technical and business stakeholders through workshops and demos to refine requirements.
- Collaborate with distributed project teams and contribute through automated testing, code reviews, technical feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial software development experience using C# and .NET.
- Experience building backend applications and APIs with ASP.NET Core and designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Practical experience hosting .NET backends on Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Functions, App Service, and Key Vault.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and relational databases such as SQL Server or Azure SQL.
- Experience securing APIs with Entra ID and OAuth 2.0.
- Knowledge of automated testing, clean code principles, design patterns, and modern software architecture.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on commercial or internal-project experience building Microsoft Copilot Studio agents, including topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, grounding, actions, and agent flows.
- Practical experience with Copilot Studio prompt engineering and Power Platform, including environments, solutions, Power Automate, custom connectors, and Dataverse.
- Understanding of ALM for Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions, responsible AI, DLP, and data protection practices.
- Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, MCP tools, Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft Foundry or Azure AI services, messaging and event-driven architecture, Docker or Kubernetes, Microsoft Fabric or Databricks, AI-assisted development tools, or frontend technologies are preferred.
