Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure.
- Build and integrate APIs, distributed services, and data-driven applications.
- Integrate backend services with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks.
- Develop data pipelines, data transformations, data integration solutions, and data processing logic using Python and SQL.
- Work with relational databases and data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse architectures.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders and distributed project teams.
- Contribute to automated testing, code reviews, technical feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to AI-enabled solutions involving backend services, data platforms, and Microsoft Azure AI services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial software development experience using C# and .NET.
- Experience building backend applications and APIs with ASP.NET Core and integrating distributed services.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Azure SQL.
- Knowledge of automated testing, clean code, design patterns, and modern software architecture.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Commercial experience contributing to data pipelines, data transformations, or data integration solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks, preferably Azure Databricks.
- Practical Python experience for data processing, automation, or system integration, plus strong SQL skills.
- Understanding of ETL, ELT, data modeling, data quality, data governance, and data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse architectures.
- Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders and willingness to work across backend, integration, and data platform responsibilities.
- English language skills at B2 level or higher.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, PySpark, Apache Spark, Data Factory, OneLake, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft AI services, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, React, or Angular.
