Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and integration flows connecting cloud, on-premises, and SaaS systems.
- Implement data mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling.
- Build synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven integrations using reusable patterns.
- Configure API gateways, messaging services, and integration platforms.
- Create automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and documentation.
- Support the integration of AI services, copilots, and AI agents with enterprise applications.
- Contribute to the Integration & API Center of Excellence and collaborate with Platform Engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software or integration development.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, OpenAPI, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, SAP Integration Suite, or Apache Camel.
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or comparable technologies.
- Experience with cloud services, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Docker.
- Good English and a proactive, collaborative approach are required; German is a plus.
- Exposure to AI services, enterprise copilots, or AI agents is preferred.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI APIs, RAG, MCP, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, cloud-native platforms, Terraform, GitOps, or Internal Developer Platforms is a plus.
