Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, and maintain scalable production services and core Java services.
- Solve complex technical problems across service design, debugging, and production stability.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering quality across the team.
- Build and improve automation and AI-based tooling that increases engineering leverage.
- Use authorized AI coding-assistance tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver global platform capabilities for investment operations.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Java and Spring Boot for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining production services.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Ability to guide peers on safe and effective AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Preferred: experience with AWS cloud services, Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools, AI or agentic tooling, developer-automation platforms, and Python.
