Base Salary
$110k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design engineering platforms and tooling for building, deploying, and operating applications.
- Develop automation for common development and operational tasks.
- Monitor system performance and availability and remediate issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with software and data engineering teams on operationally sustainable solutions.
- Improve system reliability and implement actionable monitoring frameworks.
- Operate and integrate cloud services, containerized applications, orchestration systems, and Linux-based infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in operational roles such as Cloud Operations, Site Reliability, or DevOps.
- Experience with GitOps-based deployments and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.
- Proficiency with logging and observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Experience designing and operating applications in public cloud environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Expertise operating and integrating AWS services such as RDS, EKS, and CloudWatch.
- Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, and Linux-based systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering education preferred.
- 10+ years of operational experience, at least 1 year of software engineering or equivalent software architecture experience, and PCI, SOC2, SOX, or other compliance audit experience preferred.
