Responsibilities
- Collaborate with animation, programming, and motion capture teams to develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Analyze, design, develop, maintain, and optimize animation features and systems in the game engine.
- Create tools and systems supporting dynamic and living worlds.
- Write clear, structured code with attention to performance, memory usage, and compatibility.
- Research procedural and physics-based animation techniques and contribute to animation technology improvements.
- Improve animation tools and workflows and share knowledge across teams.
Requirements
- Experience with C++ and C#.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio.
- Strong understanding of 3D mathematics.
- Experience with rigging, state machines, ragdoll physics, inverse kinematics, and facial animation.
- Understanding of animation tool development and optimization.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical topics clearly.
- Strong attention to detail when identifying and resolving system issues.
