Base Salary
$149k - $359k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build resilient, high-throughput distributed algorithms supporting six nines of continuous uptime.
- Own core platform components and drive initiatives from architectural design through production rollout.
- Solve engineering challenges involving distributed consensus, resource allocation, fault tolerance, and high-workload performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams through design reviews, code reviews, technical knowledge sharing, and platform architecture development.
Requirements
- Technical proficiency writing clean, maintainable, concurrent C++ production code for high-performance systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems design principles, Linux operating system internals, database engines, or containerized environments.
- Understanding of performance trade-offs and failure modes.
- Ability to analyze complex technical scenarios, debug systematically, and develop scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment on complex engineering tasks and collaborate across functional teams.
- Ability to work primarily from the Santa Clara, California office.
