Base Salary

$168k - $262k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and lead development of tools that accelerate science experimentation and delivery.
  • Guide science-team implementations and proof-of-concept work used to determine solution strategies, algorithm workflows, and release-candidate components.
  • Build scalable science experiment frameworks, low-latency testing pipelines, and data collection, annotation, and evaluation web applications.
  • Bridge science and engineering teams and pipelines to accelerate the transition from research into production.
  • Develop systems that support intelligent agents, complex reasoning, multi-step workflow automation, and scaling to millions of users.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience mentoring, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Experience delivering complex software systems to customers.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of JAX, PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, Dynamo, TorchXLA, and TensorRT.
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of agentic architectures, autonomous systems, or task orchestration.
