Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services in Go.
- Build high-performance REST and/or GraphQL APIs for customer-facing and internal workflows.
- Model complex relationships in graph databases and optimize schemas and queries.
- Implement event-driven systems using NATS and related streaming or messaging technologies.
- Develop automated tests supporting correctness, security, and performance.
- Build and operate microservices deployed on AWS across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Create and improve CI/CD pipelines for secure, rapid delivery.
- Partner with cyber operations, product, frontend, and domain experts to translate operational needs into product capabilities.
- Evaluate technologies and patterns that improve operational outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience building backend or full-stack applications.
- Strong Go proficiency with production service delivery experience.
- Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or AWS Neptune, including schema design and query performance.
- Working knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues or streaming systems.
- Experience building and maintaining REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Hands-on experience with containers and microservices architectures.
- Strong secure coding foundation and ability to reason about security tradeoffs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required; some positions may require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes defense or security software, mission-critical systems, AI/ML integration, large-scale data processing, open-source contributions, and observability tooling.
