Base Salary

$87k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the enterprise API-SOA roadmap, strategy, processes, policies, standards, and operating plans.
  • Provide engineering input into API, EAI, and SOA solution architecture.
  • Design and develop transformations for B2B-EDI, XML, and other integration streams.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, customers, and technical teams to refine requirements and document technical designs.
  • Review designs and code to maximize reusable modules, minimize system impact, and maintain quality.
  • Perform unit, integration, and stress testing using vendor and external simulation tools.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for integration platforms and mission-critical applications.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call production support rotation and improve support procedures.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline and at least 5 years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of API, EAI, ESB, and SOA technologies, with basic understanding of EDI collaboration and supply-chain, logistics, and financial transaction sets.
  • Advanced development knowledge of Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway, or equivalent, and basic understanding of an ESB such as Oracle SOA Suite.
  • Experience with J2EE, XML, HTTP, JMS, SQL, XSLT, and/or XQuery.
  • Experience working with technical and nontechnical personnel at all organizational levels and resolving issues through completion.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Splunk Enterprise or equivalent, Linux, Oracle DB, ServiceNow Incident and Change Management, SVN integration, and SAFe Agile training or certification.
