Base Salary
$70k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring frameworks, and microservices architecture.
- Build and consume REST API integrations.
- Develop cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
- Work with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus messaging technologies.
- Build applications backed by Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Use Jenkins and CI/CD processes to deliver software.
- Apply software testing approaches and tools including JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Apply chaos testing and SRE practices to improve application resilience.
- Collaborate on engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and complex customer needs.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and Spring-based frameworks and libraries, preferably Spring Boot.
- Experience working with public cloud and cloud-based technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus.
- Experience working with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Experience building and consuming REST API integrations and working with microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with software application testing approaches and tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Experience with chaos testing and SRE practices for highly resilient cloud applications.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for engineering excellence, collaboration, continuous improvement, and willingness to learn.
