Responsibilities
- Design and write C++ code and engine scripts for the game's visual presentation.
- Design, architect, and document technical designs for presentation systems.
- Adapt existing libraries and write custom code as needed.
- Develop stable, scalable, efficient, and shareable code using a proprietary game engine.
- Debug and tune features across multiple platforms and devices.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, content creators, and engineers to realize the game's presentation vision.
- Apply common software engineering design patterns and paradigms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
- At least 6 years of C++ experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
- Experience with a game engine such as Unity or Unreal.
- At least 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python and Lua and interpreted languages such as C#.
- Knowledge of sound software programming practices.
- Experience with source control systems.

- British Columbia compensation range of $104,500–$142,800 CAD.
