Responsibilities

  • Design and write C++ code and engine scripts for the game's visual presentation.
  • Design, architect, and document technical designs for presentation systems.
  • Adapt existing libraries and write custom code as needed.
  • Develop stable, scalable, efficient, and shareable code using a proprietary game engine.
  • Debug and tune features across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, content creators, and engineers to realize the game's presentation vision.
  • Apply common software engineering design patterns and paradigms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
  • At least 6 years of C++ experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
  • Experience with a game engine such as Unity or Unreal.
  • At least 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python and Lua and interpreted languages such as C#.
  • Knowledge of sound software programming practices.
  • Experience with source control systems.
