Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives with broad organizational impact.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document large-scale technology solutions.
  • Create intuitive, accessible, responsive, and user-centered enterprise web experiences for workflows, dashboards, reporting, and business applications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing, then translate findings into design improvements.
  • Use Figma for wireframing, prototyping, design systems, and collaborative product design.
  • Convert UX/UI designs into scalable, maintainable React and TypeScript front-end implementations using AI-assisted design-to-code tools.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into front-end applications.
  • Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices while influencing technology teams and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, business partners, technology leaders, and external industry groups.
  • Lead projects or teams and serve as a peer mentor.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience creating user-centered web or mobile experiences.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Figma experience for wireframing, prototyping, design systems, and collaborative design.
  • 2+ years of experience developing or partnering on front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • 3+ years of experience designing responsive applications across devices, screen sizes, and platforms.
  • Experience applying accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.
  • 2+ years of experience using AI-powered design-to-code tools.
  • 1+ years of experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services into front-end applications.
  • Experience with enterprise workflows, dashboards, reporting tools, operational analytics, design systems, reusable component libraries, or enterprise design standards is desired.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, modern web frameworks, AI-powered tools, chatbots, large language models, automation, agentic workflows, or financial services is desired.
  • Experience owning design-to-implementation workflows, including API integration, testing, and deployment, or working in a UX Engineer or Design Technologist role is desired.
  • Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
