Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, debug, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML.
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and develop DAML smart contracts.
- Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues.
- Create documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide team members while fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with DAML.
- At least five years of software engineering experience.
- Strong programming background in languages such as Scala or Haskell.
- Strong understanding of distributed ledger technologies and their financial-sector applications.
- Proficiency with relational database management systems and APIs.
- Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure and message queuing systems.
- Experience using REST and gRPC for system integration.
- Preferred: understanding of Canton public and private networks, functional programming, and other EVM-based blockchain protocols.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, self-motivation, time management, and task ownership skills.
