Responsibilities
- Plan, design, prototype, and ship applications in partnership with engineers, users, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Build AI and LLM-powered experiences that transform the sales experience for customers and salespeople.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle from ideation and experimentation through deployment.
- Contribute to application architecture and set the team’s technical direction.
- Design and implement REST APIs, inter-service communication, and data flows.
- Research technologies, develop proofs of concept, write high-quality code, and review peers’ work.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Typically requires 8+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or Engineering.
- Deep experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Advanced or expert programming skills in C++, Java, Python, SQL, and Golang.
- Project experience with Apache Storm, Flink, Druid, Apache Kafka, Airflow, and Presto.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud computing platforms.
- Familiarity with version control systems, modern CI/CD practices, testing, and database and software migration tools.
- Understanding of automation, deployment, infrastructure as code, security, and networking principles.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale distributed systems or machine learning batch inference systems, accessibility best practices, and early-stage product definition.
- Preferred qualifications include strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, critical-thinking, analytical, and ambiguity-navigation skills.
- A Master of Science degree is a plus.
