Base Salary

Responsibilities

Design scalable and stable systems and solutions for customer applications.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across the TMDS application suite.
Work with the program manager on work-item priorities and acceptance criteria.
Partner with program managers, customers, system engineers, and product owners to ensure requirements are met.
Document and coordinate interface control document requirements for software integrations.
Participate in peer reviews and help ensure adherence to established engineering practices.
Mentor team members and guide problem-solving efforts.
Contribute to DevOps practices and software design best practices.

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least five years of application development experience using the .NET framework, C#, VB.NET, and SQL Server.
Experience developing entire applications or very large features.
Solid desktop application development and Windows services experience with a good understanding of the Microsoft platform.
Practical knowledge of code maintainability optimization and data modeling.
Knowledge of domain modeling and entity modeling is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, self-motivation, quality focus, and ability to build positive relationships.
Railroad or dispatching knowledge, business process analysis, RabbitMQ, networking and data transfer protocols, system installation practices, Visual Studio, and cybersecurity hardening experience are preferred.
