Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and services.
- Build and deploy cloud-native and serverless applications using Azure Container Apps and Azure Functions.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices for scalable distributed systems.
- Design and optimize SQL and PostgreSQL relational database solutions and work with Azure Cosmos DB.
- Develop event-driven applications and distributed messaging solutions with Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hubs.
- Build and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Apply engineering practices for code quality, testing, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Use AI-assisted developer tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- For applicable positions, develop Python applications and use Databricks for data processing and analytics.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, participate in design discussions, and contribute to engineering standards.
- Own complex technical assignments from design through deployment and resolve performance, reliability, and production issues.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in Java application development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications with Azure Container Apps and/or Azure Functions.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Azure Cosmos DB.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
- Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting production applications and APIs.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools and their practical application in software engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Python and Databricks for applicable positions.
- Preferred experience designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud security, application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and API testing.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and cloud deployment best practices.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance.
