Responsibilities
- Oversee technical quality control, testing, analysis, and issue resolution across the technology lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using the existing framework and appropriate testing tools.
- Guide Test Analysts and development team members in creating and using automated tests.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to design test hooks before implementation.
- Create and maintain automated test data sets and test harnesses that reduce repetitive testing work.
- Develop test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and execution reports for functional testing.
- Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and coordinate with development, QA, and business teams.
- Recommend improvements to quality control frameworks, processes, and testing best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- ISTQB Core Advanced/Specialist certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of software quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Strong experience in manual, automated, or performance testing and the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C# identified as priorities.
- Working experience with Mocha, SQL, Node.js, AWS, Jenkins, Git, Linux, shell scripting, and web services testing.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Supertest, Postman, Python, and automated API testing integration.
- Understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, behavior-driven development, Agile software development, and QA workflows.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time-management, organizational, and self-starting capabilities.
