Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and debug software using fundamental programming concepts.
- Contribute to software development, integration, and AI-enabled automation projects supporting Navy operations.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate with engineers and cybersecurity specialists.
- Apply technical skills to real client work in mission-focused and secure environments.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally while learning in ambiguous problem spaces.
Requirements
- Experience writing and debugging code, such as Python, in professional, personal, or academic environments.
- Experience with data structures, control flow, functions, and basic debugging.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or another STEM field by Summer 2027.
- Preferred experience includes software development, data science, cybersecurity, REST APIs, web services, system integration, AI/ML concepts, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LLM tools, cloud platforms, Docker, networking, federal IT systems, or collaborative software development practices.
