Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute software deployments across staging, testing, and production environments.
- Plan and schedule deployment activities with development and operations teams.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment processes, resolve failures, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Automate deployment tasks and maintain deployment tools and scripts to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure version control, documentation, and compliance with security and operational standards.
- Perform post-deployment testing and support developers with testing, validation, and application deployments.
- Manage deployments and configurations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI cloud platforms.
- Provide deployment status updates and communicate risks to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Active US Top Secret Security clearance.
- 3–5+ years of experience delivering, integrating, or operating technology solutions in DoD network environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of OSI networking principles, including DoD-specific contexts.
- Expertise across CI/CD tools, containerization, version control systems, cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.
- Ability and interest to travel as needed, with travel of up to 50%.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with Python, C, Rust, Assembly, Bash, PowerShell, distributed systems, embedded systems, bare metal environments, hardware virtualization, RTOS, Linux, Windows, and database deployment strategies.
