Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver projects using Java technologies.
- Work with team leads and team members to ensure timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with project leads, project managers, senior business analysts, and other development teams.
- Complete assigned tasks on time and provide regular status reports.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-quality, team-oriented development environment.
- Write unit test cases and perform unit testing.
- Apply software development, clean coding, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience.
- Experience with Java 8 or later, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Cloud, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle, messaging technologies such as Kafka or MQ, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge of microservices, object-oriented programming, software development best practices, and application servers such as Tomcat.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment and version-control tools such as Git, SVN, ClearCase, or PVCS.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies and unit testing with JUnit.
- Angular or AngularJS, HTML5, jQuery, JSON, JavaScript, Servlet, JSTL, AJAX, and CSS experience is advantageous.
- Cloud experience, preferably with Azure, plus knowledge of CMMI, design patterns, and emerging technologies is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, error-free deliverables.
