Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines processing millions of patient records daily.
- Parse more than 50,000 clinical notes per patient using LLMs while avoiding hallucinations.
- Own AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, including deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Design systems for high concurrency and reliability.
- Build feature-engineering pipelines for ML models.
- Own backend systems and infrastructure that process hospital EHR data and produce real-time risk scores.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend engineering experience.
- Deep experience with distributed systems and highly concurrent workloads.
- Strong experience with databases, data pipelines, and ETL processing.
- Comfort with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently, including when documentation is limited.
- Experience with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7v2 is preferred.
- Background in LLM infrastructure or applied AI systems is preferred.
