Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, and optimize scalable services and tools that address performance and monitoring challenges.
- Develop control-plane software and APIs for Network Products and contribute to end-to-end product ownership.
- Collaborate with networking teams to build new products and services for developers.
- Support existing products and devise solutions to customer and product pain points.
- Improve tooling and engineering processes for robust, mission-critical software delivery.
- Help establish development and architecture best practices across the team.
Requirements
- Experience programming in Go and writing unit tests.
- Experience designing and developing high-performance systems.
- Networking domain knowledge or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience building full-stack applications with databases and APIs.
- Experience leading cross-team work to establish API contracts.
- Experience with cloud development, containerization, and virtualization.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience with gRPC and distributed, high-demand systems is a bonus.
- Working knowledge of Temporal and Kafka is a bonus.
