Responsibilities
- Lead the design of enterprise-class software modules for secure, scalable, resilient cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Establish technical roadmaps with cross-functional stakeholders and align engineering and product teams with business objectives.
- Coach and mentor peers through code reviews, technical guidance, and collaborative troubleshooting.
- Shape security architecture best practices and develop strategies for complex technical challenges.
- Design solutions that balance technical debt, speed to market, long-term stability, and patient-centric outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience programming scalable software, including at least 3+ years in a lead design or architectural role.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices, Domain-Driven Design, distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases, and event streaming such as Kafka or NATS.
- Understanding of cloud-native development, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience designing highly scalable, low-latency, observable enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with reactive or functional programming and distributed cache grids.
- Comfort working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a strong commitment to CI/CD principles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and commitment to documentation, quality assurance, and engineering best practices.
