Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack development across Drupal 10/11, including custom modules, theming, and integrations.
- Drive technical design and architecture decisions for complex web solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote coding, testing, documentation, security, and accessibility best practices.
- Collaborate with QA, product owners, designers, and IT leaders on high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and assess technical risks and alternatives.
- Develop and maintain automation tools for testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release strategies.
- Communicate project status, risks, and priorities with stakeholders using Jira and Confluence.
- Advocate for technologies that improve efficiency and scalability and champion collaborative, inclusive practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of professional experience as a Drupal developer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Strong proficiency with Drupal 9/10 APIs, PHP 8.x, Twig, HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.
- Solid debugging skills and experience with responsive web development.
- Familiarity with GitHub or Bitbucket, branching strategies, and code review workflows.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce APIs, Mulesoft, Acquia, enterprise integration patterns, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and performance optimization.
- Acquia Certified Developer certification or higher is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and ability to lead technical discussions and influence cross-functional decisions are preferred.
