Responsibilities
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and cloud messaging services.
- Develop end-to-end features with React or Angular on the frontend and Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Python on the backend.
- Build, maintain, and optimize microservices and serverless components.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Design data models and optimize PostgreSQL queries.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested TypeScript and backend code.
- Participate in architecture decisions, technical design discussions, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.
- Monitor and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and distributed messaging components.
- Use AI-powered development tools to support development, testing, debugging, and code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate, plan, and deliver solutions while providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong experience with React or Angular and TypeScript.
- Hands-on backend development experience with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
- Experience designing, implementing, and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience building microservices, serverless applications, and event-driven architectures with Kafka or cloud messaging services.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Experience with more than one listed backend technology is preferred.
- Experience with both React and Angular is preferred.
- Production experience with more than one messaging platform is preferred.
- Experience with event sourcing, CQRS, AI-native development practices, or agentic coding workflows is preferred.
