Responsibilities
- Build scalable and maintainable B2B software products using React and TypeScript.
- Design reusable UI components and maintain the organization’s design system and component library using Figma and Storybook.
- Ensure frontend performance, accessibility, responsiveness, internationalization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on interfaces.
- Translate Figma designs into high-fidelity user interfaces and provide technical input during design discussions.
- Contribute to architecture evaluations, system reviews, code reviews, coding standards, documentation, and software lifecycle practices.
- Implement and support automated unit, integration, performance, and frontend tests.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and advocate for high-quality engineering standards.
- Own production systems, support root cause analysis, and help maintain reliability and uptime.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering Operations on build pipelines, observability, and deployment automation.
- Work with Product Owners and cross-functional global teams to deliver features and business value iteratively.
- Ensure compliance with information security policies, regulatory requirements, and global standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of frontend development experience using React and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Figma, Storybook, component libraries, and design systems.
- Demonstrated ability to translate designs into functional interfaces.
- Familiarity with accessibility and WCAG, internationalization/localization, performance optimization, and modern CSS including CSS Modules, Tailwind, or Emotion.
- Experience working in distributed environments and using Jira, GitHub, Miro, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with frontend test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
- Fluent English and Spanish communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of secure development practices such as XSS prevention and compliance frameworks including ISO27001, GDPR, and SOC2.
- Familiarity with state management patterns such as Redux or React Context.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Sentry or Lighthouse.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment and foster organizational change.
