Responsibilities
- Design and develop features for Matroid’s computer vision platform.
- Improve client-side and server-side site performance.
- Create visualizations for computer vision model outputs on video streams and images.
- Incorporate user feedback into product design and development.
- Ensure platform features operate reliably at increasing scale.
- Identify useful technologies and engineering best practices.
- Design, build, and test new features across the full stack.
Requirements
- Strong command of modern JavaScript development.
- Ability to work across the stack, including database and user-interface development.
- Ability to prioritize work, learn unfamiliar technologies, and operate autonomously.
- Understanding of intuitive and delightful user-interface design.
- Technical, analytical, creative, and fast-learning approach.
- A computer science or similar degree, boot camp and STEM background with a strong portfolio, or self-taught experience with a few years of industry experience.
- Experience with data visualization, scaling web applications, or DevOps is a plus.
