Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, document, operate, maintain, and support high-quality software applications.
- Develop and maintain .NET-based full-stack applications using C# and SQL Server.
- Collaborate with users, functional analysts, application architects, deployment teams, and other stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose software and features.
- Author and review technical and functional specifications, including test descriptions and acceptance criteria.
- Perform development, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation for the company’s application suite.
- Support workflow and ticket-management processes and escalate and follow up on blockers, issues, and deviations from guidelines.
- Collaborate with project teams across multiple international locations and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a software developer, sustenance engineer, or systems engineer.
- Experience with .NET-based full-stack development and strong software development or engineering fundamentals.
- Good experience with C# and hands-on experience with SQL Server.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and application-architecture skills.
- Experience with unit testing and peer testing of developed code.
- Experience with workflow or support-ticket management systems such as BMC Helix, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Agile-Scrum practices.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant experience.
- Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams, diverse stakeholders, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- WPF experience, cloud-based development knowledge, preferably Microsoft Azure, and SOA knowledge are preferred or desirable.
- Experience with laboratory-related applications is an added advantage.
