Responsibilities
- Design and build platform services including control planes, policy and enforcement paths, and APIs.
- Own services end to end from architecture and implementation through deployment and production operations.
- Solve distributed-systems challenges across on-premises, public-cloud, and SaaS environments.
- Build infrastructure paths for AI inference and serving, agent runtimes, and data flows.
- Implement security guarantees including identity and access, workload isolation, secrets handling, and secure-by-default patterns.
- Translate data residency, isolation, encryption, and access-control requirements into implementable designs.
- Improve team technical quality through design reviews, code reviews, and pairing.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years building, shipping, and operating server-side software in production.
- Deep experience with complex distributed systems spanning multiple environments, including consistency, partial failure, upgrades, rollouts, scale, and production debugging.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Java, Go, or Python, with solid API and data-modeling skills.
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including AI workload deployment.
- Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude or Cursor in day-to-day work.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with AI agents, agent orchestration, tool use, MCP, prompt and context engineering, retrieval, and agent evaluation.
- Preferred: experience deploying and operating AI workloads, including inference and serving, GPU scheduling, and model and data pipelines.
- Preferred: experience with AI security, sovereign or regulated environments, and AI governance or compliance automation.
- Preferred: familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, or the EU AI Act.
- Preferred: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Machine Learning.
