Base Salary
$145k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D and production software development for next-generation radar products.
- Support system integration of software on custom hardware.
- Support deployed software capabilities for U.S. and international customers.
- Collaborate across product families and expand capabilities across multiple product offerings.
- Work full-time onsite in San Diego, California, with some travel to Hawthorne, California.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional object-oriented software development experience.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, embedded Linux systems, Buildroot, and Linux software development.
- U.S. Person status is required to access U.S.-only data systems.
- Preferred qualifications include near-real-time embedded software development, CUDA, and additional languages such as Rust, Node.js, Java, or Go.
- Preferred experience includes radar or other airborne/ground sensors, radar modes and algorithms, signal processing, target detection and tracking, software-defined radios, networking, and advanced time synchronization.
- Preferred experience includes Git, Docker or Podman, virtualization, BIOS and secure boot technologies, encryption, visualization, defense architectures and messaging standards, and modeling and simulation testbeds.
- Preferred experience includes production-level software deployment, DevOps or DevSecOps, continuous integration and delivery, high-TRL systems, and hardware/software integration, testing, and verification.
- Current or previous Department of Defense security clearance is preferred.
