Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain NPU-related features and customer requirements on Qualcomm platforms.
- Develop and optimize NPU drivers for performance, stability, and maintainability in Hexagon use cases.
- Optimize NPU RPC performance and software interaction paths to reduce customer integration overhead.
- Improve NSP algorithm integration through software enablement, debugging methods, and issue-analysis workflows.
- Resolve urgent customer NSP algorithm integration issues through debugging, root-cause analysis, workaround alignment, and blocker closure.
- Collaborate with AI software, driver, kernel, and platform teams on Linux-based application and driver development and NPU platform enablement.
- Provide technical guidance, API usage support, and development best practices for Qualcomm NPU and Hexagon software stacks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of software engineering or related work experience with a bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year with a master’s degree, or a PhD in a related field.
- At least 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Solid capability in embedded system design and software development.
- Hands-on experience with C/C++, Linux application development, and Linux driver development.
- Proficiency using AI development tools such as Claude and Codex.
- Preferred experience with Qualcomm AI software development, including QNN, SNPE, or Hexagon SDK.
- Preferred experience with RPC driver development or RPC performance optimization.
- Preferred experience with Linux PCIe development and NPU/GPU driver development, debugging, or performance tuning.
- Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, along with effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
