Base Salary
$153k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build platforms and services supporting machine learning, generative AI, and agentic platform and product experiences.
- Design, code, test, launch, and operate production features and systems at Roblox scale.
- Work across model training and inference, LLM services, agent infrastructure, data systems, experimentation, evaluation, and developer tooling.
- Improve the speed, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency of AI development.
- Balance quality, latency, reliability, and responsible data use while collaborating across product, research, data, infrastructure, safety, creator, engine, discovery, and economy teams.
Requirements
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent engineering experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, distributed systems, cloud services, or a related area.
- Experience building projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal work.
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Rust.
- Interest in machine learning, generative AI, distributed systems, data infrastructure, or developer platforms.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
