Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, fault-tolerant telemetry infrastructure with low operational overhead.
- Build and optimize services for ingesting, transforming, storing, and querying logs, metrics, and traces.
- Deploy and operate production-grade Kubernetes systems with self-healing, autoscaling, and robust reliability characteristics.
- Collaborate with platform teams and service owners to develop tools that improve operational excellence.
- Participate in system design reviews, post-incident retrospectives, and the team’s site on-call rotation.
- Optionally build user-facing observability interfaces using React and JavaScript.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in full-stack software development and infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience building full-stack applications with modern backend and frontend technologies.
- Strong programming skills in Golang or equivalent system-level languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities using modern AI frameworks, MCP Servers, and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector databases, and AI agents.
- Experience designing and consuming REST/gRPC APIs and building scalable microservices.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, including scalability, fault tolerance, consistency, and resiliency.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating services in Kubernetes-based containerized environments.
- Familiarity with observability pillars including metrics, logs, and traces.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, time-series storage, query optimization, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, high-throughput data pipelines, and cloud-native environments.
- Open-source contributions to infrastructure or observability tooling are preferred.
