Base Salary
$199k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for road model detection.
- Comprehend objects, lanes, obstacles, and weather conditions within the driving environment.
- Enhance perception systems to process multi-modal sensor data effectively.
- Utilize data science techniques to analyze model performance and identify corner cases.
- Design and implement deep learning models for road model inference in BEV frameworks.
- Integrate BEV representations into end-to-end planning and control pipelines.
- Develop efficient pipelines for large-scale data processing and annotation of sensor data.
- Deploy machine learning models on edge devices, ensuring real-time performance.
- Collaborate with robotics, software, and hardware engineering teams.
- Stay updated with advancements in computer vision and autonomous driving technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience in MLE engineering.
- Master's degree with 3+ years of experience is also acceptable.
- Scientific understanding of machine learning for 3D BEV space modeling.
- Applied understanding of lane and road geometry concepts and multi-camera calibration.
- Experience with data distributions and analyzing long tail distributions.
- Mastery of Python and PyTorch, with the ability to transition research code to production standards.
