Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot secure software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when implementing application changes.
- Use Software Development Life Cycle tools and automation to improve engineering outcomes.
- Troubleshoot technical problems of basic complexity and contribute to secure, stable, and scalable systems.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Apply software development processes, methodologies, and technical skills across the full development lifecycle.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture based on diversity, opportunity, and respect.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional Java experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Demonstrable ability to code in Java.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices.
- Emerging knowledge of technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
